Ben Rathsack is Vice President of Product and Technology Development at Tokyo Electron America, Inc. He is responsible for U.S. product management across 5 business units including R&D, Marketing, New Product Introduction and Process Development. His team develops advanced equipment, processes, and software technologies in collaboration with global Tokyo Electron factories and corporate R&D teams. In addition, his team specializes in SMART tool development, including advanced computational engineering, new sensors, diagnostics, and software controls, to achieve autonomous operation (AI). He has 22 years of semiconductor industry experience at Tokyo Electron and Texas Instruments. He received his BS in chemical engineering from the University of Illinois/UC and his MS/PhD at the University of Texas/Austin.
